When I think of Oaxaca I think of colourful papel picado flapping in the wind and the sounds of Mexican music filling the air. Inspired by a statue in the lobby at Hotel Ayook, this tumbler features a Mexican trombone player under a cloche surrounded by prickly pears and music notes.
Perfect as a pen holder in an office, for displaying brushes in an art studio, or simply admiring on a table with a small bouquet inside.
The illustration is carved with a sgraffito technique into the matte black paint on the outside to reveal a white clay base. The tumbler features a turquoise glaze on the inside.
*Not suitable for a dishwasher.
